Modern Computing Architectures
Computer architecture, Network-on-Chip, adaptive routing, simulation-based evaluation, and reproducible experimental workflows.
MCS Research Group is an independent academic and applied research group founded by Tien Hieu Le, focusing on modern computing architectures, Network-on-Chip, artificial intelligence, educational technology, and software engineering platforms.
MCS Research Group supports academic research, software engineering, and applied technology development in modern computing systems. The group connects research, teaching, and practical engineering through reproducible experiments, technical resources, and applied software platforms.
MCS Research Group is an independent research-oriented group. It is not a degree-granting university or a public higher education institution.
The group prioritizes research directions that combine rigorous experimental evaluation with deployable engineering outcomes.
Computer architecture, Network-on-Chip, adaptive routing, simulation-based evaluation, and reproducible experimental workflows.
Machine learning and reinforcement learning for optimization, routing, scheduling, decision-making, and engineering systems.
Networked systems, monitoring tools, protocol analysis workflows, and infrastructure-oriented software platforms.
Programming education tools, AI-assisted learning resources, digital platforms, and academic knowledge systems.
A research stream on adaptive routing for mesh Network-on-Chip architectures using reinforcement learning-inspired policy discovery and reproducible simulation.
Applied platforms for document management, workflow automation, data processing, permissions, versioning, and institutional operations.
Tools for packet capture analysis, sensor data availability checking, and operational support in networked technical environments.
MCS maintains selected publications, manuscripts in preparation, technical reports, and reproducible research artifacts.
Tien Hieu Le is a Ph.D. student at the VNU Information Technology Institute, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and a visiting lecturer in information and communication technology at Vinh University of Technology Education. He is the founder and group lead of MCS Research Group - Modern Computing Systems.
